Explore the fishing villages, harbour coves and abandoned mines dotted around this remarkable corner of Cornwall, before being welcomed back to this delightful home from home. Return happily weary and settle on the comfortable sofas to relax in front of the coal-effect electric fire with hot chocolates and perhaps a glass of wine!

The floor-to-ceiling windows in the kitchen and dining area flood the open-plan layout with light and the sounds of coastal birds soaring on the breeze. Potter the 1 mile to Lamorna Cove for an early morning swim, whilst Porthcurno Beach is a 6-mile drive away. When the weather turns, try Paradise Park and JungleBarn (14.5 miles) or Eureka Escape Cornwall (5.5 miles) to entertain the kids.

The harbour villages of Newlyn (5 miles) and Mousehole (4 miles) are worth a visit, and Penzance (6 miles), has a multitude of shops and pubs to choose from. Find industrial heritage at Levant Mine and Beam Engine (12 miles), an original mining site on the edge of the cliffs.
