Pet friendly holiday cottage, sleeps 6 - Lanhydrock, Cornwall

Explore the Cornish coast and country from this lovely cottage on a farm lane. Having once been part of the National Trust’s Lanhydrock Estate there are 900 acres of parkland you can explore less than a mile away. Enjoy the luxurious features, including a hot tub and wood burner; with flexible sleeping arrangements it makes the perfect base for friends or family.

Brimming with character and modern comforts you’ll feel right at home here. There’s a lovely country-style kitchen for cooking hearty meals to enjoy at the dining table. The kitchen also has that morning essential: a coffee machine.

Huddle around the wood burner on chilly evenings to play games or watch the Smart TV in the cosy lounge with gorgeous original features. Upstairs you’ll find three bedrooms: a king, a double, and a bunk room with a sofa bed if you need to fit a seventh guest in. The king and double have en-suites and there’s another shower room too.

The enclosed landscaped garden has a hot tub under the pergola, and a patio terrace for enjoying BBQs or a glass of wine in the evening. The cottage is one of a few holiday cottages next to a working farm. You’re welcome to explore Lanhydrock Estate or head to Cardinham Woods (3 miles away) to check out the beautiful woodland walking routes and cycling trails (and lovely cafe).

The world-renowned Eden Project is 8 miles away and there’s a golf course a mile from the cottage. Foodies will love Padstow (18 miles away), home to incredible Michelin-starred restaurants and less pricey options too. Spend lazy days on the beach building sandcastles and rock pooling at Carlyon Bay (9.5 miles away) – which hosts special events during the summer – or wandering on dog-friendly Par Sands (8 miles).
