Just 5 miles to the Helford River with its opportunities for fishing and kayaking and within 2 miles of the unique landscape of the Lizard Peninsula, there are many opportunities to get involved in some outdoor sporting pursuits. Perfect for families, especially those with various canine members, this lovely cottage is a tranquil haven and one that you will not want to leave.

Whether relaxing together outside on the stone terrace with uninterrupted views of the beautiful fields in the distance or watching a film in front of the cosy wood burner, the cottage constantly reminds you of your rural location. The exposed beams and farmhouse table of the kitchen give you an authentic feeling of country life and the welcoming bedrooms with their charming window seats are the ideal spot to settle down with a book when the day is nearing its end. Drive the 12 miles down to the unspoilt coastal village of Coverack where you may be lucky enough to spot a dolphin or two frolicking in the sea.

Also, visit the interesting seal sanctuary nearby in Gweek where you can meet some new marine friends. The National Trust's Lizard Point is a 14-mile drive away and makes for a great family day out.
