It's a secluded spot near the southernmost tip of the British mainland so relax and enjoy the gentler pace of life. From this stone barn conversion you're perfectly placed to enjoy daytrips by car or keep it local - walk along the spectacular South West Coast Path, enjoy beach days, or chill in the tranquillity.

From the impressive stone frontage to the peaceful patio garden behind, this property is all about comfort and reassuring solidity. It's furnished in a rural style with painted fiddleback chairs and a feature dresser with pretty chinaware in the diner/kitchen area. In the living room the sofas are deeply comfy - you can kick back and relax with a favourite movie.

Bedrooms upstairs are bright, and the exposed beams are varnished revealing the natural wood colours. The crescent-shaped bay of Coverack is popular for windsurf and kayak hire, and you could try your luck on a mackerel-fishing trip from the harbour. Further afield, drive 7 miles to Helford for beautiful waterside pubs either side of the pretty Helford river linked by a ferry ride.

The Seal Sanctuary is 9 miles away at Gweek – after you've met these charming creatures, why not lunch at the village pub beside the traditional boatyard? Lizard Point itself is 10 miles away, with an incredible view and famous lighthouse.
