The lounge/kitchen/diner offers high ceilings and ample windows, filling the room with natural light and offering views of the garden just outside. Outside, a private patio space is furnished with a wood-fired pizza oven and a table and chairs for morning coffee or an evening tipple. Elsewhere on the estate, find a large paddock where dogs can be exercised. The River Tamar is just 2 miles from home, offering a pretty walking route through the AONB splendour of the Tamar Valley. Visit the Tamar Trails Centre (3.5 miles) to unlock any number of incredible nature trails and pathways, including the famed Tamar Coast to Coast Way. A short drive away, Cornwall and Devon's marvellous coasts are within reach.

Head south and visit Freathy Beach (20 miles), an appealing stretch on the edge of Whitsand Bay.
